Tate's Tire Pros & Auto Service is an auto repair shop and tire dealer serving Cloverdale, CA and surrounding communities.

When people asked how we got started in the auto repair business, I smile and tell the story of how my wife and I, and two young children lived the “American Dream”.

Twenty-so years after the start of Cloverdale Automotive & Tires in 2001, our family opted to open a second shop in Cloverdale in 2024 – Tate’s Tire Pros & Auto Service.

The latter question became when people would ask how Tate’s Tire Pros & Auto Service got started. Again, I smile and add on to our story...

A lot has happened in the years since we started our business. Our kids grew up, started their careers, got married, gave us grandchildren. My wife and I of course got older, and our son became an integral partner in the business. It goes without saying the idea of opening a second shop at this time in our lives was unexpected.

When the opportunity presented itself to open a second location in Cloverdale we thought long and hard about it.  We realized we had the chance to expand and provide more services, more availability and be the kind of automotive repair and tire shop that could better accommodate our customers' needs and provide the quality and care they deserve.

The Community of Cloverdale is a place we hold dear to our hearts. More so, we are so proud to be a part of this community and serve its amazing residents. Alongside our dedicated staff, the support of our friends, family, and community – the sudden dream of Tate’s Tire Pros & Auto Service was brought to life.

Our story is only as great as our team. Over the years, we have been fortunate enough to have assembled a team of top-tiered technicians and a most accommodating service staff. These individuals are not only the best at what they do – but additionally share our values; treat others the way you would like to be treated; with the utmost care and respect. As corny as it may sound (it is true), we are like one big happy family. 

Here is the American Dream. We are fortunate enough to work in this amazing town. We get to do the jobs we love to do. And lastly, we have come to build outstanding relationships with our customers and community members.  That is what I call “Living the American Dream.”
